Meet the Coaches
COACH MICHELLE WILCOX
Kentfield Girls
Michelle joined LOLA in 2011. What started as a “convenient” exercise routine, running has become a passion for her. She runs with Tamalpa Runners based in Marin County, and has captained their women’s Masters Team. She competes in all distances ranging from 5k’s to marathons, and will endeavor to tackle her first ultra marathon in the Spring of 2011. Michelle’s spirited enthusiasm, endless energy, and love of running is an inspiration to others. As a coach, her message is always - run for fun and good health with people that share that same passion.
COACH KARI CHALSTROM
Mill Valley Ladies Trail and Core Specialist
We have been working with Kari since 2008. She is the Team LOLA 'Motivator'! Kari's goal is not to run her team into the ground, but to feel success and satisfaction with their workout. AND most importantly HAVE FUN! She asks her groups to choose workouts that "challenge" them. She believes "You can do anything, once you put your mind to it." She recently ran her first 50K Trail race. "It was an accomplishment beyond (her) wildest dreams".

The first season of East Bay Girls has proven successful beyond belief. Her motivation, talent and thoughtfulness has warmed the hearts of her team and their families.

Carole also joined LOLA East Bay Girls in 2010. She brings a wealth of ideas, creativity and spirit to Team LOLA. Her compassion, skills, energy and strength resonates with her girls and the feedback from the families is amazing! She lives by the mantra, "If you don’t’ feel yourself growing and your life broadening and deepening, the answer is simple; go out for a long trail run." She proves this by participating in half marathons and marathons. Her passion for pushing the envelope and gaining new perspectives is evidenced by her sense of adventure including a cross country bike trip and extensive solo travel in Europe.

Kathleen runs with Tamalpa Runners and is the Captain for their Open Women's Racing Team. Kathleen has completed many half and full marathons, including Boston in 2010, and is running her first Trail Ultra Marathon in Spring 2011. Kathleen knows the trails of Marin and Mt.
